The No. 1 Actor and the most respected actor in the Bollywood Mr. Amitabh Bachchan.

Amitabh Bachchan was born in Allahabad City. He was born on October 11, 1942.

His father name is Harivansh Rai Bachchan and he was a Hindi poet. while, his mother name is Teji Bachchan, and she was a Sikh socialite. Unfortunately his father died 2007 and his mother died in 2007. Mr. bachchan has one brother named Ajitabh Bachchan.

Amitabh Bachchan studied in Sherwood College boarding school before enrolling in Delhi University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree. In 1969 he made his debut in Bollywood with the Saat Hindustani. the movie did now did well at the box office but his acting was praised and he come into existence. he captured the attention of directors and he won his first National Film Award. By the early 1970s, Bachchan had garnered popularity with audiences as the "Angry Young Man" in a series of successful Hindi feature films. His starring role in Zanjeer was particularly instrumental in launching him to stardom as an action-movie hero. his performances in the film like Laawaris, Coolie, Naseeb, Silsila, Shaarabi, Jaadugar, deewar, sholay, Don, Agneepath, Deewar, Zanjeer, Shahensha, Mard leads him to the top actors in the bollywood. the man did more than 150 films and Apart from National Film Awards he also won padma shri and padma bhushan Award.

With the acting he is also a good singer. he sang many song like "Le Le Chuma", "Mere Angane Main", "Jumma Chumma", "Bol Bachchan" . He's is a producer as well produced many films few are "Paa", "Major Saab", "Buddha Hoga Tera Baap". He's also the Television presenter. he had host the 4 season of "Kaun Banega Crorepati" (KBC) out of 5 and he had also hosted the third season of "Big Boss".

Success Story of Amitabh Bachchan is Several Books have been written on him like "the Legend", "To be or not to be", "Amitabh: The Making of a Superstar". In June 2000, he became the first living Asian to have been modelled in wax at London's Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. Another statue was installed in New York in 2009, Hong Kong in 2011, Bangkok in 2011 and Washington, DC in 2012. he has a net worth of $400 million. He lives in a very beautiful house Prateeksha in mumbai.

In 1982 he was critically injured while filming Coolie. He spent many months recovering and resumed filming later that year. The film was released in 1983 and due to the huge publicity of Bachchan's accident, the film was a box office success. He married actress Jaya Bhaduri in 1973 according to Bengali rites. The couple have two children daughter Shweta and son Abhishek.

The Man has already spent four decades in Film Industry and gave this much hits movies that today's actors making re-make of that Movies such as "Don", "Agneepath", "Zanjeer" .
